mini-Ligno DX/C with Electrode E16: Contractor Package D-6C

Early detection is a first step to prevention.

For inspectors, contractors and hardwood floor installers the DX/C with Electrode E16 can check wood and evaluate moisture distribution in concrete and other non-wood building materials. Add EL pins to go through insulation or roofing materials.

The teflonized  pins EL measure only at the tip up to 7" deep.

Package D-6C consists of the mini-Ligno DXC, the Electrode E16 , 

1 pair of pins EC, the E16-mini Cable and the Case S.

 The DX/C is one of our most popular meters with the following features:

The functionally designed mini-Ligno DX/C fits in your hand when measuring and is small enough to carry in a shirt-pocket. 

The green cap covers the pins during transportation and serves as a handle when pushing the pins into the wood. This unique design allows pushing behind the entire meter to insert the tapered pins easily. Longer pins are stored inside the meter for measuring thicker material. The short pins are ideal for surface or end cut readings and for veneer.

 For measurements, push the pins into wood. The unique on-off switch between the pins, turns meter on automatically and bright LED lights instantly indicate moisture percentage.

E16

The Electrode E16 can be used for soft and hard building materials (drywall, plaster, concrete, brick...). 

Pins for a  measuring depth of  5/8" (15mm) are included with purchase of the Electrode E16. Tapping on top of electrodes will insert pins. Pre-drilling holes may be required. 

For a measuring depth of up to 7" (17.5cm) order EL Pins separately.

Cable

The E16-mini Cable connects the Electrode E16 to the mini-Ligno DX/C. 

The cable has 2mm plugs on one end and 4 mm plugs on the other end.

Standard cable length is 3 ft (1m), available also 6ft (2m).

Case

The black hardshell case has a double wall for sturdiness and a

foam insert for protection. For mini-Ligno DX/C,  Electrode E16 and 

E16-mini Cable, 1 pair EC pins.
